The Smith Road Band packed out The Manufacturing facility Theater Friday evening, their 3rd program on the Fatality to the Lads trip. I'm a massive Springsteen fan-- we were originally called Wil Wagner & The Smith Street Band, but it really did not really make sense since we were a lot much more collaborative than that. 2011 was the year that Melbourne's the Smith Road Band went from family member obscurity in Australia's tiny, expanding punk scene to being the "most likely to" band for numerous international acts that have toured Oz in current times. WW: We began regarding two-and-a-half, 3 years ago. I was playing a lot of solo shows as well as sort of wanted to get a band together to do that. That was just how we first started.
